Software Engineer II - TS/SCI w/poly clearance

Requires TS/SCI with Poly Clearance

Fourteen (14) years experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. 


Requirements:
Team is sourcing for a software engineer to join an existing team working to build out and sustain a Kubernetes environment to host services which are deployed to multiple network platforms.

Required skills:

  • Experience with developing microservices in Java
  • Experience with the Spring framework
  • Experience with Linux CLI
  • Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure, Rancher, Helm
  • Experience with HCI/AWS
  • Experience with GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience using the Atlassian tool suite (Confluence, Jira, etc.)


Desired skills:

  • Understanding of or experience with Elasticsearch/Opensearch
  • Understanding of or experience with Grafana dashboards
  • Understanding of or experience with tools such as Terraform, Salt, and Ansible
  • Experience with system sustainment and compliance including system patching and SSP management
  • Experience with corporate STE/STN security compliance policies and procedures
  • Security+ certification (CWIP) would be great but is not required
